I had to give a speech about myself at the job, so I figured I’d showcase a bit of my rap skills. The time came for me to deliver my speech and every thought I had planned disappeared from my brain. Luckily, I’m good at freestyling so I delivered a speech and rapped for the people in attendance. Everyone enjoyed it and was surprised by the talent being displayed.

The conclusion of my speech made me reassess the way that I presently write music. With that said, i’m experimenting with new writing techniques and projects to create. Expect to see new sections with varied subject matter on this site shortly.

Thank you to iCON the Mic King for picking up the Dropcards for me from Fedex. The driver had the nerve to say that she couldn’t locate my home address. That is a downright lie because my address is the most visible, I suspect that the driver was delivering some other type of package (hint, hint).

The night started out with KWOTE SCRIPTURES performing his latest single: “You Can’t Change the World” which features Mr. Cheeks on the recorded version. I substituted Mr. Cheeks slot with none other than iCON the Mic King for the live show. iCON then delivered an acapella verse for the crowds enjoyment.

Next up, was Hasan Salaam and Rugged-N-Raw performing songs from “Children of God” and “Another Level”. The crowd starts trickling in little by little and definitely builds up for the headliner. The energy level keeps building with every performance.

Da Circle, follows up next and gets the crowd in the hype. The crowd is enjoying themselves and getting liver and liver. AKIR, performed a few tracks from “Legacy” and a few new songs as well. Poison Pen who is doubling as the host, follows suit by providing some strong, street music that sets the mood for Immortal Technique.

Finally the time has come and the headliner hits the stage and does what’s he known for. Everything goes as planned as songs from: Revolutionary Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and The 3rd World are performed. The crowd matches the energy level that Technique is displaying on stage. DJ G.I. Joe burnt a whole through the turntables when he displayed his: scratching, juggling, and mixing skills. You can check the video clip of his performance on Youtube. The link will be provided here in the next few days.

Wearyourcity.com stopped by the show to promote their custom shirts and meet and greet with all of the performers of the evening. We (all of the artists) recorded video drops for Wearyourcity.com to support their efforts.

There was a very cool hip hop mom (What was your name? I apologize) who brought her 4 kids who are under 21 to the Technique Show. She let them enjoy themselves and live in the moment. Finally, she supported the movement entirely and recorded a short video clip for my site which will be posted in the near future (next few days).

The new single “You Can’t Change the World” ft. Mr. Cheeks (The Lost Boyz) is now available on Dropcards. The new technology allows clients to purchase the card pictured below and access any content that the Artist has uploaded.
